I don't think the people who have been the most critical of Drake even know what they want from him. They just know that they wanna be able to talk about him and talk s*** about him so regardless of what he does, they'll find an angle. It's really interesting to see.

Dre and Ye get grace cause they are super producers. Producers first, then artist. That's why they don't get s*** for having writers. If you are just a rapper and you have writers that hits totally different. But ig the rules are changing now

Idk man.

1) Let me say first that I like Drakes earlier records regardless of who’s writing them so this isn’t me hating the guy. But I always put him in that Dre / Kanye category because of all that.

2) anytime people bring up co writing in the 90s a lot of it seems to be a collaborative effort where someone may have given someone a line or told em “nah say it like this”

This s*** deadass feels like whole concepts is being given to bro, and it is what it is but the deflections are getting tiresome
