What annoys me is the fact that when I show s*** like this to Drake stans the first thing they'll do is show that the person is credited so technically it's not "ghostwriting"

Well ok since his writers are always credited apparently, if I see a name in the credits that isn't a producer or sample I'll just assume it's a writer

How are you this dumb? Yes, the literal definition of a ghostwriter is that they get zero credit and zero public acknowledgement whatsoever for their contribution to the piece of work in question.

And good that you're finally understanding how credits work lmao. Yes, if someone isn't credited as a producer and isn't credited as a sample on a song, they typically contributed some piece of songwriting, even though sometimes, artists are known to credit people who only contribute ad-libs.

This is crazy cause I remember the Lebron interview and Drake was talking about how losing the Pusha beef got him in a zone and inspired him to write this.

Fakest rapper of all time for real lol

    Yeah i remember this too

Woah this is rough. I’ve never cared about drake ghostwriting stuff. 10 bands and Jumbo two of my all time fav drake songs. The fact we are still on it almost a decade later is laughable

But to be like yeah I took that pusha t energy and put into writing mob ties that’s an awkward thing to have on camera

But he did write Mob Ties? He used most of Vory's hook, yes, but he did the verse himself.

Well there’s parts all over the song that drake used.

    But you’re not wrong,

Would’ve been more accurate to say ‘I took all that energy…went to my email…chose a referene that Vory’s manager sent to me. Then I recorded the hook and lyrics that were already there and filled in all the mumbled lyrics and recorded that s***

Drake has like 400 songs and like 200 features

We have like 7-10 References from 2006-2024 18 Years.
    (I think I'm forgetting some)

    Mob Ties - Vory
Jumbotron S*** Poppin - Lil Yachty
    Legend - QM/PND
    10 Bands - QM
    Know Yourself - QM
    Used To - QM
    Ratchet Happy Birthday -PND

Meanwhile Drake wrote or gave ref for at least these

    I'm Single - Lil Wayne
    Un-Thinkable - Alicia Keys
Fall For Your Type -Jamie Foxx
I've Been That Girl - Melanie Fiona
    R.I.P. - Rita Ora
    Mine, Heated - Beyoncé
    My Love - Majid Jordan
Facts, 30 Hours, FSMH, Yikes - Kanye West
Don't Run, Not Nice - PND
Live Up To My Name, Money In The Bank - Baka
    6th Sense - Kodak Black
    Time - Giveon
    Stars Align - Majid Jordan

There are definitely more I can't think of atm.

Stars Align was also his record that he gave to Majid Jordan.

honestly after that RICO reference came out it really isn’t even surprising

if you’re letting dudes pen feature verses for you why wouldn’t the ass songs be written for him too
