Jay Electronica has supposedly ghostwritten for Nas, Rick Ross, and Diddy. There’s a reference track he did for the Nas song QGTM that was apparently played on discord recently that some users on here may know more about.

There’s also evidence that Jay E likely wrote verses for Jay on Magna Carta Holy Grail. Bangs Stan laid it all out on the OG site iirc.

It will be a long time before we accept the difference between credited writers and Ghost writers. Drake hate too strong. Plus no one wants to keep that same energy about all the known ghost writers, Mickey Factz, Joell Ortiz, Daylyt, Royce Da 5'9 have all denied writing for Drake when asked. Or the rumblings over the years of most music artist/rappers engaging in this practice. Obviously as a ghost writer the point is to deny. Regardless too many people have bigged up Drake's pen, I've still never heard a word for word ref track. Y'all still don't do what he does.

Only thing that'll truly break my heart is if I find out he isn't penning his most personal/lyrical songs. He can get assistance for all these other vibey tracks as much as he wants because it's clear what he's really going for are the flows and cadences. And even if he wasn't using any of their lyrics but only used their cadences, that'd still count as them co-writing those songs with him so it's really whatever.

Obviously he changes s*** up every so often like having Conductor do the AM/PM song last time but it still fits into his predictable formulas

1. He’s not going to admit it and burn a bridge lol him denying is a non story. Again that point is moot since there are users among us, regulars btw, who have had the privilege of hearing the QGTM ref he did for Nas.

2. Ak was saying allegedly and apparently about a Mob Ties Vory ref before it leaked.

3. Jay Z and Nas have portrayed themselves as GOAT rappers in the same way. If the proof of them using writers gets outed they’re in the same boat as Drake.

I think the funniest thing I've seen is fans say "well, all the GOATs could have had s*** written for them but at least we haven't heard references tracks for them yet." Huh?

So why are they crying over Drake? And it's so funny how niggas flip-flop over how they feel about him. Any other day, he's a popstar who isn't in the same league as Kendrick or Cole but a reference leaks and now it's tears and b****ing and moaning about how he's getting help with flows and cadences and how that's a grave sin
