That nigga kendrick shouldn't have held back on king kunta
Rap game would be so dry without drake
The reason why Drake's career is still alive even with reference leaks is because the music is too good to deny and us drake fans know drake is a collaborator. Maybe your favorite rapper should collab with others too so he can keep u as fed as drake feeds us.Drake is bigger than rap and even with a reference track leaking he's still 10X better than your favorite
His core audience don't care about him having writers, they casual music enjoyers.
After twenty years in, I'm so naïve I was under the impression
That everyone wrote their own verses
It's coming back different and, yeah, that s*** hurts me
I'm humming and whistling to those not deserving
I've stumbled and lived every word
Was I working just way too hard?
Drake hoes were saying my dawg was hating bro my nigga was MOURNING a genre he put blood sweat and tears in

You get why he said f*** making a rap album
Drake's a pop star that can rap,he even said this
so why do y'all get mad at people excluding him as being one of the greatest rappers? is it oochie wally or one mic?
Drake's more like MJ than jay-z,this is facts
MJ is far more involved the performer than Drake has and could ever be though. Like...dawg MJ was whipped into being the driven artist that he was. And he wrote a lot of his hits and early stuff.
And honestly, the s*** not really the same because guaranteed MJ vetted, collaborated and wrote with his writers. With Drake it deadass seem like Party n em just be throwing the ref tracks as layups and Drake put his voice on em on some ai typeshit and thas it

Or they're hip hop fans with actual lives (married with kids, actually have a job and hobbies)
This gotta be views old this too good, gotta check if bey didn't f*** it up
She did a good job but drakes one is just too special. His version of Unthinkable was also fantastic

Andre releasing a flute album and not Rap makes more and more sense everyday

Yep, it's good only cause it's official but drake had the midas touch on that b****
Or they're hip hop fans with actual lives (married with kids, actually have a job and hobbies)
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Kendrick wouldn't be Kendrick without drake
Kendrick was always going to pop off my friend, that's an Undeniable fact

Not true ,drake did the second verse on ratchet happy birthday and legend. Also the mob ties reference doesn't have the part where drake is really rapping on there

Got me feeling like Joel-Hale Osteen? I know people say he stretched it to make it work but uhhh
It’s cause in hip hop, bars are the defining trait in the genre.
Every genre has something that defines it. In r&b that trait has and always will he the ability to sing. That and writing are mutually exclusive.
Hip hop, the lyrics have and always will be what matters the most & was what made hip hop stand out to begin with.
It’s no coincidence the less emphasis that has been placed on bars and more on “vibes” the less popular hip hop has been lately lolololol
no doubt. thats whats interesting though, things have really shifted if we're considering artists like uzi / carti / whoever to be in the same genre
and whats fascinating about drake is he balances s*** like that with r&b and pop s*** and still will claim hes the best rapper and once in a while he'll go out and truly bar out. thats what puts him in all these discussions but he fits kinda awkwardly into all of the boxes
