yeah that is one use of "religious freedom" i agree, n it's one that causes problems with how religious and secular perspectives interact, but that really doesn't encompass what "religious freedom" means. and in any case, i'm pretty sure there's been some precedent of legislation attempting to solve that issue of "when does religious freedom encroach on others' freedom"

first, yes there is an argument to be made that gay people are denied service by christians claiming the need for freedom to practice something from the Bible, but Kanye would never do something like that or advocate for it, and secondly that is not the only reasoning behind asking for religious freedom, there are also muslims in the U.S. or China who seek religious freedom, or Bahais in Iran seeking religious freedom. And also your argument that promoting religious freedom only serves to take freedom from non religious people just doesn't make any sense, there are still religious gay people who are harmed in the scenario you suggested, and freedom of religion doesn't mean that everyone suddenly has to be religious
