The whole Kendrick Drake beef in full effect
V2 will come when its calm outside
this album is nonstop hits on some modern graduation type s*** and hes going to ruin it with some bullshit release on an app
JIK era was on point with the overall direction of yeezy but he forgot how to rap
donda was on point focus/rollout wise but also limited musically

You can accuse donda of a few things but not "limited" musically.
Ye went from: I called Elon to ask how much does it cost to perform on the Moon.
To: I'm sleeping or some s***

Yeah it was bloated af
But donda was very ambitious and unique compared to most mainstream rap

i don't get the bloated arguments
just delete the songs
i rearranged the f*** out of donda. Tell The Vision doesn't even exist to me. and i only picked the best versions of the part ones and twos. My Donda Version is immaculate.

it was ambitious in certain senses and limited in others
like a large reason why the rapping on some songs wasnt great / a lot of it was written for him was because he was in that transition period between the super jesus era and now, and I don't think he had a clear vision for what verses were supposed to look like writing wise
but in terms of production aesthetic etc. its a very well thought and interesting album IMO
