apparently Ye didn't write a single bar, just like Off the Grid. Donda might have been entirely ghost written
Ima listen to this when I’m back home, but yea that was my main problem with Donda. At first it seemed like “Ye locked in” then he decided “let’s redo Wyoming” still an amazing album

Ok but this sucks

We are going to find out that 90% of the songs we listen to are just Vory songs.
Download it now. It’s going to be gone. Even tho it is just the leak apparently.

this is one of the weaker songs on DONDA no one cares about this man lol

Off the grid being entirely ghost written tho...
unironically better than all songs on V2
And so it begins
Now to wonder if the Portishead and Led Zeppelin samples were cleared (doubt)
Remember when TLOP came out and people thought Ye had fallen all the way off.
We didn't know we'd fall this far
they had MONTHS
people hate on this era, but this and Donda 1 era were peak and the most satisfying conclusion to the Kanye saga before a retirement a fan could wish for
-we got 2 20+ song albums full of some of my favorite ye songs ever
-balenciaga team and demna doing creative direction
-elaborate, aesthetically consistent and beautiful listening parties
-Kanye back doing amazing production for other artists
-multiple 1+ hour interviews after radio silence
-multiple classic yeezys dropping while being the easiest time to get them
-a full 3 part doc on kanye’s whole life
-funniest ye social media moments
-decade long promise of affordable yeezy clothing that was being sold in one of the largest clothing retailers
-DOZENS of songs we had as grails for years being leaked
-public being on ye’s side again and he had some of his best collabs
i could go on, but i really saw it as the end and consider him retired
Agreed, Donda 1 era was really special. That first drink champs interview was amazing as well, and he looked so at peace around this time. Larry Hoover show felt like such an amazing moment
Like bro wtf, bro was sounded so self-aware in this. Was bro just playing ball in hopes to get back with Kim?
