Like, hypothetically, Billy Corgan sucks now. But what if he ai’d the Billy Corgan 90’s voice filter over his own vocal take. What if it was better? What would you prefer? Is it the fact that it’s obviously a Ty Dolla vocal?
Just curious how everyone’s feeling because this is like one of the few instances of ai usage I could excuse ethically and artistically. If you’re using it because you’ve lost it, I guess that’s okay but it for sure takes you out of pure artist contender (which he lost forever ago)
I am just not a fan of AI as a tool for voice in general. Wasn't fan of the AI Drake diss track from day one. I wouldnt care if they used it for other stuff in the music
