I think it's because no one has truly taken the mantle from Ye as the next generational talent (maybe aside from Kendrick) for us to follow so we just keep coming back to him lol

He doesnât owe us or anyone professionalism, he can do what he wants but when heâs running around like this I am not going to chalk V2 up to âitâs a fun album!â

I love the messiness and unpolished aspect to his later his career as it serves as an interesting counter point the first half of his career. I just donât enjoy looking at art as something should or shouldnât be a particular way and thereâs a lot of discourse on this site and the internet that makes these sweeping statements about what art should or shouldnât be and I just idk

I think his ego didn't want his story to end on such a blunder, he wanted a vengeful comeback. it doesn't have the intended effect tho because its predictable, and Kanye West doesn't do what's predictable.
