The best songs on V2 are leagues better than the best songs on V1, but the worst songs on V2 are definitely much worse than V1.
The quality of songs on V1 range from a 5-7/10 ; while the quality on V2 ranges from a 3-9/10.
I'd rather listen to a messy album than a consistently decent album, and in that way I think V2 is much more interesting than V1.
I think people were dissatisfied because Ty and Ye had the elements to make something truly special.
Like no bullshit, Ye could've made a near perfect album with the pieces he had to work with.
It's obvious that Kanye isn't interested in perfectionism anymore, and if his goal was to lean more into expressionism, he hit the nail on the head with V2

Are they done updating the album?
They still haven't added the deluxe tracks to streaming so it will probably get 1 more update but pretty much outside of the mumble verse on 5:30 everything else is completely mixed and mastered and finished
