This dude said "yo shake make it to the studio so we can finish this album, if somebody see shake call her, tell her make it to the studio"

Hot Take: I prefer the JIK mix of "everything we need". The stripped down production allows the sample to carry, and that sample is gorgeous.

I understand why people prefer the maximalist Yandhi version though.
I mean the only thing I really miss is the layer of bass but I understand people liking the smoother JiK one more

The synth bass on The Storm does go extremely hard. That mixed with the chiller JIK vibe would be the best version of that song imo.
Either way I'm happy we got a version without the X verse. Ye probably wanted to include an old X verse he had in the vault as a way of tributing him, but it doesn't fit the vibe. It's too aggressive and awkward on that instrumental.
X's verse would fit better on Law of Attraction. It would fit thematically too. Ye samples a car door sound, which could reference both his car crash and X's untimely death taking place in his car.
Idk, that idea sounds kinda tough in my head but I may not be cooking
no updates since the new mix of the clean version, is that correct
The explicit mix was updated as well and they put a new Ye verse on the song Forever

Forever verse was a nice surprise
Glad he’s still somewhat a Christian, hearing him say that s*** in the laboy interview was sad
