the music doesn’t matter, it’s the (apparent) cultural cache, numbers, charts and overall fame that it could potentially garner Drake above anything else, that’s why they obsess over everyone else’s numbers that could even remotely compete with him, because they feel like it dims his light if someone else is just as big (or even bigger) i honestly became convinced over the years they don’t even f*** with music like that period

one of them even made a thread on here saying The Weeknd can’t do stadiums or some s*** and he ended up doing it and had no idea how to flip it they’re morons

they get so gassed up and disconnected from reality in their echo chambers that they become convinced that all of music and culture revolves around Drake and it’s just not true. they won’t realize this until a decade or two from now though, because they inherited that Peter Pan syndrome bullshit from their daddy
