And i still got the CDs aint nobody take that s*** away from me except maybe some crackheads while i sleep

I do prefer digital more now, makes more sense for me, however there’s some cds, mainly mixtapes that I had to rip onto the pc then put on iTunes because they’re not on streaming, biggest wish is for the g-unit radio series and Good Fridays to be on streaming

“Let the kids have the music” means old heads need to stop hating on the younger generation of artists it has nothing to do with the price of the music

Lmao that’s not what that means at all

The context of that quote came during the streaming wars, i.e. Tidal vs Apple Music exclusive releases, and Ye was saying f*** all that ego d*** swinging s***, just put the music out.

I get what you’re saying but at the same time it’s not really a musician’s choice if they get rich from their art or not. If they sell a million copies of a record or hundreds of thousands of tickets to a show, how is it unethical that they became rich?

I agree it's not unethical on their side, this isn't about chastising artists like Ye because in this system they do get f***ed

Like the most I paid for a CD was $14.99

But don't try to pocket shame niggas because people can't spare $20 for ONE album.

especially when economically it's been said people are going through it lol. Stannery's a disease guys.

And let me reiterate I am ALL for niggas selling digital music. I got blank face LP and the healing component and soil and a few joints still on my purchased in apple music.

none of them costed $20 SINGULAR alone to buy.

20$ digital would be better as 10 but again it’s not the end of the world it really isn’t

Bringing up serious world issues and saying “ he is rich he doesn’t need this “

When yall just sat on here saying “ he is poor and I hope he loses all his money for the hateful things he said “ like at a certain point no consistency is displayed here

“ he should retire and not make music “

Is now “ we need it on streaming “

“ I will never listen to his music again “

    Is now begging for it

Like show that you have a soul

I bought the stem player, some Vultures merch, the live stream for the album the other week, and I still think serious world issues which are happening as we speak highlight that this problem runs much deeper than just Ye getting f***ed, he is getting f***ed

Your blanket statement is wholly incorrect

Maybe the price point is a little high, but it’s the people who are saying that streaming is better regardless that are wildin
