What i dont understand
If every artist agrees.. why not take a stand against streaming w every artist
Because they signed a record deal my g
Again remove ye from it . If Sevdaliza or James Blake or so many artist wanted to do same in not mad at it . S*** better than nfts to me
It’s just someone selling their craft. It’s not that radical of a concept too. As long as it’s available to purchase for everyone at a reasonable album price, I don’t see an issue with it at all. If it’s one of those wu tang million dollar album concepts haha I can see it being more annoying.
Put the single on streaming like radio.
Because they sign contracts and accept advances that say they have to do whatever their label tells them to do
So they should learn not to sign dumbass contracts

KTTMZ RUMOR
After Cudi released Dose Of Dopeness, Ye is considering releasing Living So Italian and Jumping In Bordeaux
So be consistent regardless of who it is, artists deserve to get paid whether you’re Ye independent or Kemba independent
fam I said artists should sell they work
Literally all I said was $20 for a piece of album is a lil high. If YOU can buy that, that's great.
I had the same opinion when niggas like mach was selling they s*** for 100+ dollars but people bought. Just like enough people will buy a $20 ye album.
All I'm saying is that it's just a lil high for MOI. But if you can purchase that's good. Just know some people it's gonna be a lil more difficult.
So they should learn not to sign dumbass contracts

You know that niggas cant read
Everybody can be a successful musician through streaming for example Benzema released an album called 15 and everybody streaming it cause he famous. He would sell a lot more than actual musicians. Google benzema 15 for more info
Currently trading in ps4 games at Gamestop to get to $20 for Vultures 2, available at yeezy.com

There’s no such thing as a smart contract in the music industry for an up and coming artist bro
Because they sign contracts and accept advances that say they have to do whatever their label tells them to do
and you can't even blame them for signing because who's telling a person in dire straits to turn down an advance of 50k.

Shipping cost for a digital album?
I’m bout to kill myself society is doomed

Plus I’m in the US, shipping cost is only high internationally

We cant stop the illegal downloads

Kanye needs to explain to us why his quest to mess with streaming services only leads to us, his fans, being f***ed
We cant stop the illegal downloads
Someone should send him that
I wanna see the angry response
Shows is great too but tour takes them a lot of effort and again is so cut between so many places
I know.
I said itt that touring dont even be helping artists make money anymore. Most artists are exclusively making it through merch (said via musician friend who just came off a tour with a pop star) which is also how they are able to pay their musicians.
The game is truly rigged, industry is due for a crash cause it's not even sustainable.
