I think they should do something like that Tidal reveal event with artists coming together to legitimise and gain support for this digital exclusivity move.
Unfortunately many would be reluctant to associate with him and many of the big ones simply don't care as they're making a lot of money off it.

Reluctant not even for the Jew rants
Reluctant because it would all be just promo for ye’s album not an actual movement or something he cares about. It isn’t about helping other artists. It’s about helping ye move units of vultures.

Also you know ye would just release Vultures 3 on streaming anyway after all that

This is in the same stages as V1 was when he first played it in Miami and Vegas, he will keep playing some of these songs at these upcoming events then expect another month of silence then they’ll hopefully get ready to drop fr

I'm actually super glad he didn't decide to just slap on all the already finished songs and push out the album.
People cry about Vol 1 feeling like a playlist or something but I feel like it's one of the better flowing albums I've heard in recent times and I end up playing it in full everyday.

agreed, i think vultures 1 is easily his most well sequenced album since yeezus. it ebbs and flows really well emotionally, starting kind of melancholic and solemn, getting more energetic, then getting sad again before closing on a triumphant note.

It will leak but who cares. Artists make Pennys on streams, but diehard fans will buy it to support the artist (see people in this thread). So first few weeks diehard fans support the artists, lesser fans and broke people will pirate. Then after a few weeks it will be on streaming for the general audience to consume.

Literally no point in this but okay.

Its funny how much the attitude towards music consumption can change in 10 years. In 2014 it would've been perfectly normal to buy an album digitally. Now it causes riots

An entire streaming subscription costs $10.99. We're not dropping $20 unless it's a vinyl record

And the fact that you can get all the music you want for that low and anything else is considered inconvenient, is the problem
