Not mental illness solely hyper paranoia from when he was 5150d never went away and I’ve never been 5159d against my will or heard of a successful story of a famous person doing so without mentally breaking that’s all

I dealt with a hate crime at work once where a dead bird was placed in my office and I was forced to move it . When I came forward about it I was locked in a room and told they were holding my car for weekend ( illegal ) . I snapped and became kind of hyper paranoid for months so I can fathom 5150 with no friends and family coming to free me would snap me man lol

Its not just as easy as it sounds switching and trying different medication until you find one that suits you,

The side effects of alot of these medication takes a huge toll on you and alot of them turn you into a zombie as well

The mental health system in the country i live (which has mostly free healthcare) is so f***ed and underfunded, so I can't even imagine what its like in the USA.

My thing with modern day Ye, is his reactions to personal injustices, which are common to poor and less wealthy people, don't go further than his personal feelings.

He could talk about how mental health systems don't do enough to properly help already vulnerable people. He could talk about the need for accessible health care. He could talk about big pharma making huge profits from medication that could be much cheaper. He could talk about how capitalism pumps up healthcare prices without a care for poor people dying of things which started from a minor illness, but he doesn't.
