Do you take any medication?
I’m aware that medications and their success rate fluctuate from person to person and medications are not necessarily the answer for every person who suffers from a disorder. However, it’s denial to act like Ye would be in a better state if he stayed unmediated, it’s clearly not gonna work in the long run and we’ve seen his mental health decline more over the years.

Yeah that s*** was scary and f***ed up, but the reality here is each episode of mania cause more and more brain damage if left untreated. He’s gonna be fried mentally in 10 years or so and that’s gonna be even scarier.

Even though the medications are dangerous and side effects are horrible, unlike other meds like SSRIs they really work very often. My sister worked in a psych ward for her placement for med school and people would think voices are coming through walls and stuff and after like 2 days of being on the meds she would prescribe them they would be apologizing for being weird. She said it was one her favourite fields because you’re really making a difference to people. Human brains are amazing tbh
