the ibotenic acid that converts to mucusomol (or however you spell it) is neurotoxic, but theres no evidence humans eating them occasionally has any neurotoxic effects.

the mucusomol is not neurotoxic. its converted when you paraboil them or dry them. i bought them dried, so its almost all converted.

smoking them would convert more leftover ibotenic acid through decarbing so its probably less poison going into your lungs.

theres no reason to think this si any worse than smoking anything else
