Love the shuffle button. Curious where you're getting the albums from Like I get it's from MusicBrainz, but are you telling me that there's only 2,116 hip-hop albums from 2008 logged on MusicBrainz? Not that it functionally matters, since nobody could ever go through every album for even a single year on here, plus pulling like 50,000 albums from MusicBrainz API at once probably wouldn't fly Though it would be cool if you could pull a completely random new batch of albums with the shuffle button (Maybe way less, like 25 at a time in a 5x5 grid?), as opposed to just reordering the 2,116 that it already pulled (unless that truly is all of the 2008 hip hop albums they have logged)

Either way, super cool tool and I could see myself and others using it as it got more robust. Would be cool if you could enter your last.fm username, have it a***yze your tastes, and then spit out albums you might like from all sorts of genres. I'd even go so far as giving it a***yzation periods, so if you only wanted albums reccomended based on what you've been listening to over the last year, you set the period for Last.fm a***yzation to the last 12 months. Or if you have a certain period of your life where you got into a certain scene or genre but u eventually fell off of it, you could set it to your tastes from like "May 2020 to August 2020". Last.fm API calls are pretty generous and it's super easy to sign up, I used it to build my KTT2 profile banner that updates live with what I'm listening to/recently played, but some sort of caching system would probably be good (like, if someone does a full lifetime last.fm profile a***ysis, the results of that a***ysis are cached so you don't have to bombard LFM for every request. Would vastly speed up results, and the user could see a message like "Full Taste A***ysis up to date as of 9/30/26"
