Dude

This is beautiful.

Best eras
1. Summer 2025 (July–September): the clear winner. It's the best quarter on every measure at once. The fastest pace ever (3,108 pages a month), the most original regulars active (28 of 36, tied for the high), the most replies per post (0.79, tied), and low hostility (1.0%). It came straight out of the thread's slowest quarter, so it's also the biggest comeback in the data.
2. Fall 2023 (October–December): the golden age. Second-fastest pace (2,835 a month), tied for the most regulars active (28), and low hostility. Posts got fewer replies than in later years, but that was true of the whole early era. This is the original crew at full strength, right up until Vibe's December crashout.
3. Summer 2026 (July–September): the 100k sprint. Fast (2,802 a month) and very conversational, but only 25 of the original regulars were really active, and hostility was near its all-time high. It was a fun finish, but a meaner one than the two above.
Worst eras
1. Winter 2026 (January–March): the low point. Second-slowest pace (1,250 a month), the second-fewest regulars active (23), and the highest hostility ever measured (2.1%). That's the quarter of the Bruises and rvi blocks, the Artist and Wesley fallout, Wesley's self-mute, and the BM_ and ET fights. Bad on every measure at once.
2. Spring 2025 (April–June): the dead zone. The slowest quarter ever (1,204 a month) and the fewest regulars (22). But hostility was normal: nobody was fighting, nobody was around.
3. Spring 2024 (April–June). A smaller slump, at 1,688 a month.
Long-term trends

Ranked by overall gooner talk thread derailment: how often they bring it up, how much of it they start themselves, and how often other people follow them into it. Both eras.
1. Kodak Spice: in a league of his own. 1,854 gooner posts, more than the next two combined, and 1,697 of them were him bringing it up unprompted. It also catches on: in the past year alone, other people followed him into it 137 times, the most of anyone. Proportionally he's right at the top too, about 19 of every 1,000 posts. Between the 269 questions to rvi and the TOS copypastas, this is still his biggest genre.
2. Camille: the respected derailer. 945 posts, and 105 follow-ups this year, second only to Kodak. His rate is lower (about 12 per 1,000), but when he goes there the thread goes with him, because everyone already answers his posts.
3. Tuneout. 635 posts and a high rate (about 14 per 1,000), with 72 follow-ups this year. You already know the material.
4. CutiePieHole. About 16.5 per 1,000, among the highest rates of anyone, 462 posts in total. The cozy Pokémon guy has a second side.
5. bmass. 481 posts at about 12 per 1,000, and 47 follow-ups. Steady, not spectacular.
Honorable mentions:
Caveat: this is word-matching. Words like "thick," "smash," or "booty" sometimes show up in innocent posts, Smash Bros included, so the counts carry some noise. The ranking itself, especially Kodak's lead, holds up.
@Extraterrestrial can u ask Grok who is the user i hate the most and my opp
