It was so goated, going between multiple systems and generations not even knowing theirs a difference or speration and to you it's all "just games" just different kinds and they're all the same pretty much and no concept of old or new

Playing SNES super Mario or mortal Kombat 3 ultimate from my dad, going to playing Spyro 3 and dino crisis on ps1 from my older brother, playing banjo kazooie and Turok on n64 thats gifted to both of us etc.

Then going into my own true generation of the ps2/Xbox/Dreamcast era and having my first memory of actually getting a console

But I still had no concept of "generations" until 360/ps3 era

Everything just was and just is

It was glorious

If it's good then it's good who gaf shut up and play

I had handmedown Gameboy pocket as well with one of the original pokemon, red, and my older brother had blue, n we shared Pokemon yellow. We would battle and trade each other. Then I got gold and he got silver, then we shared crystal. I got ruby he got sapphire, then we shared emerald, then I got pearl n he got diamond, n ahared platinum. He stopped playing after 4th gen tho, but then I continued for a bit same way with my younger sister up until gen 6 or gen 7. So damn GOAT!
