its 2021 id rather hear GKMC over TPAB way more
both TLOU games are good but i think the franchise peaked, i mean what more can they do that can be praised as highly without dividing their fans in half?
smh @op why did u bump this crusty ass thread
This is disrespectful to TPAB. TPAB a classic a black anthem. I could listen to that album forever.
Seriously though TLOU2 Was good. I got the platinum trophy for it. I rather them reboot TLOU in another country so we can get the perspective of another country going through it. Of course this opens the possibility that it maybe more people who are immune to the virus. The atmosphere in another country could also be worst. Make like France or Russia ground zero of the European virus. Before Covid, I would have said make China a ground zero but that might be distasteful even though it would make an amazing atmosphere. Imagine walking into a poor village in China and because they were already poor and in bad health China already gave up on them and left them to die. That could be some scary ass chase and stealth action with a new variant of the infected that changed due to China being more humid and wet for majority of the year and also they could make a variant that has absorbed like pollution from the air.
They can also do variants that wasn't in the US. Like EU might have a more tropical variant of the infected that developed the ability to breath fire or some s*** and Russia may have a more colder variant of the infected because of the more colder and dry climate and if they grab you they start to freeze you to death. It so much they can do with this game series. They can also introduce animal Infected. Like use some of those concepts they left on the cutting room floor. Bring back the dog infected(like I'm surprised this wasn't in TLOU2 seeing how prominent dogs were in the game) or the cat, giraffe, and deer infected. They could make that elephant infected from the concept art a boss fight and have it that the elephant has been infected for so long it's become a bloater variant and grew to a larger size. The games didn't peak, it's just they're limiting themselves.
I only bring this up because TLOU2 has some amazing side stories going on in the collectables and letters. I actually found their stories more interesting than the actual plot of the game. Like the guy who went out to find medicine for his pregnant wife, but got bitten and you find his body with a letter , or the Asian family that tried to contact family back home when the outbreak started and heard nothing back so everyone except the grandfather and grandson committed suicide, or the guy who wondered if the rest of the world was going through this, the elderly couple that was split up by the military
. It's like NaughtyDog basically was hinting at a game that could go global.
It is a masterpiece indeed but tbh TLOU2 arguably the GOAT video game so this disrespectful to TLOU2
