I dunno why but woke up and made a fat ass J then flicked thru my albums on my fone and thought "fuck it " and played To Pimp A Butterfly in its entirety. Even tho iv listened to this alot esp during 2015/16 but I really enjoyed the experience and the difference of sequencing between tracks. How Much A Dollar Cost is still one of those tracks that make ya hairs on ya neck stand up but the album has a whole is amazing.
I understand why people like kanye but he doesn't have the capability or capacity to let his music do the talking. Kendrick is what kanye tried to be but failed really hard. I dont think even Kendrick will top TPAB as shown with DAMN! but he will never make a sub par lp because like I said , he let's his music do the talking.
In all fairness , kendrick is the greatest rapper alive today and To Pimp a Butterfly is a landmark in hiphop greatness.
