I'm kind of familiar with him. I know his big singles, but i really wanna dive into his discography. What do y'all think was his artistic peak? Like which stretch in his career was his prime? & which albums should i check out first to get into him?

Also what do you think his top 5 albums are.

    Listen to Ziggy Stardust

then from there I’d recommend Honkey Dory, Low, Station to Station, & Blackstar

Tho that doesn’t even cover all his classics but it’s a nice introduction. If I could only recommend 3 to start it’d be Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, & Blackstar. No need to speed through all his best stuff

Some people would say to leave Blackstar for last, but I think it’s worth listening to after hearing like two of his prime classics

the craziest thing about bowie (imo) is how consistent he was. all his records are good imo.

he dropped a classic in 1972 and in 2016. thats 44 years apart. (and has other classics between these aswell)

he def dropped some trash albums esp. in the 80s but each of them still got one or two diamonds on them

yea i think i worded it wrong, like all his albums atleast have parts u can enjoy in a career that spanned 40+ years. that rarely (if ever?) has happened
