No this is not because of the government in the US and I'm not hopping on the bandwagon acting like I want to move just because of trump. We're just tired of the states and want to experience something else. I've looked up some things but I wanna hear from locals and not just articles written by someone that doesn't live in either of the places listed.
Does anyone live in either of those places? Do you enjoy where you are? Me and my girl want to move somewhere cold and be around wilderness (at least 20 minutes from the woods would be nice) but not have to spend too much. Can any locals tell me what that process could look like? We don't nearly have the money yet to just go, but we're in the planning stages. Is this unrealistic?
Alaska is nice. PFD's are clutch. Locals for the most part are very nice. Let me know if you have any questions.
Toronto a piece of s***.
DO NOT MOVE HERE, I wanna get out.

Do y'all really get that 3k check a year?
canada has some pretty good spots but depends on your budget
in your case toronto is definitely not the move
but i will warn you if you like buying s*** online prepare to get f***ed with shipping and duties so alaska is probably the safer option

After you move here you'll have to stick around for two years until you can apply for it but yes you'll start getting PFD's every year. The amount varies though. Last year I got 1.6k just for living here.
Calgary if you want to live right by the Rockies, enjoy hiking, skiing, snowboarding, etc.
Montreal if you want to enjoy culture & a vibrant night life

Toronto is out of the question and it seems too expensive from what I've seen But then again, I don't know the difference between usd so what do I know

what are pfds? is the cost of living pretty fair? Do you have dog breed limits for renting spots? I have an American Akita and my gf has a Doberman Husky. In Indiana it's been very hard finding places that let our dogs stay with us. We also don't need tons of land because of the budget, but would love to be around wilderness.
so you want to be cold
yeah, but not while in the main US. I just wanna be far away from the states. Also, my body is warm or hot at all times and it's extremely uncomfortable. But when the winter comes its like it goes away kinda and I love to step out into the cold and breath it in.
