    It bothers me how entitled people are being on Twitter about how these filmmakers shouldn’t be upset about their films not being in theaters. It’s their art so they should have the final say on how they want it to be seen or are these people so driven up their own ass that now they think it’s entirely a corporate product that is owed to them?

    People siding with mega corporations over the artists creating the work just because they’re so lazy they want content tube fed into their mouths while they sit on their couches is the sad proof that socialism and Marxism will never work in this country

    So what do the directors, producers etc want the studios to do with the movies? Just release them in places with low COVID cases? Financially they still gonna take the L. Even if all these places were open, I seriously doubt people just gonna immediately go back to regular en masse.

    Maybe tell them about what they’re doing and renegotiate the contracts so they get their back end deals that they would’ve got if the movies hit theaters

    The issue was never just about saving the theatrical experience. WB f***ed them financially
