they aren't worldwide yet
Oh damn didn’t know that. Yeah they need to get their international distribution deals in order
Bold ass move
In NYC it was costing 20 bucks for 1 ticket pre pandemic
Oh wow, they doing too much out there
there's no better feeling than actually going to a theater to see a movie in IMAX though
I lived in NYC before pandemic and would go to theatre once or twice a week.
AMC Stubs A List = $20 a month, can see 3 films a week (IMAX, standard, Dolby, etc. all included)
Special screenings at school = free
Every other ticket = $15-$20
Overall I probably spent $60ish a month on movies.
What you mean expand?
To other markets beside the US, quality torrents of the movies will be available for the overseas crowd, illegal streaming will spike.
‘Those who wish me dead’ about to be amazing. Haven’t seen much talk here about it. But the director/writer is the same guy who wrote Sicario, Hell or high water and also wrote/directed Wind River

Very true. Wasn’t thinking they aren’t distributing internationally. They need to.
I get it. If they tryna compete with Netflix, Netflix is dropping big movies regularly straight to streaming.
it's a "one year deal" until it proves to be a huge success lol
we'll see what happens tho, i'm optimistic for theatres going forward
People are already blaming Nolan for Warner‘s decision
Saying that WonderWoman would have brought more people back to the theatres. The same that weren’t even open in the first place domestically.
Is HBO max the official goat streaming service now?
Netflix is definitely gonna start buying big movies from other studios. Might f*** around and buy someone’s entire slate tbh. Universal maybe?
