I know I sound like an old head but I genuinely feel like the amount of originality in rap this current era is severely underwhelming.

Almost everyone who’s blown up sounds like somebody else.

I think that’s what was most unique about this era even though some guys influences were more obvious it felt like a new wave of music because most artists had a unique feel to some degree.

2015-17 pretty strong, tho really every year is strong, just for different avenues of rap n music in general
