Definitely. They just didn't master it for AR and watch Apple concur the market in some years.
Internet of things is stupid and useless and are branded to say that we need it when we dont.

You clearly miss understood the concept of IOT.
it's not about what do you need.
It's about what it could do for you.
It's like a washing machine versus washing your clothes with your own hands.

Yeah its 2020 and the world is crumbling. Last thing we need is a smart refridgerator or glasses that tell you to check your email

What about a smartwatch that notifies if your body temperature gets high?
You're focusing on the mainstream products and not in the concept as a whole.
BTW,
I hope that you get off all this anger and madness from your life.
Sending love for you.
Augmented reality is def gonna be mainstream. Just need to Apple-fy it. Apple has proven that you don’t need to make something insanely powerful to get the masses to buy it. It just needs to look clean. We live in a consumer culture where people buy products to portray themselves to others. If something looks good and has relative functionality, people gonna cop it
Exactly. Doesn’t matter who releases AR glasses or how powerful it is. Once Apple introduces it to the mainstream, it’ll be everywhere. Same thing as tablets and smart watches
Social media have been helping to break this concept of privacy.
It will take a couple years to people realize this and say: "you know what... I'm already exposed by my social media that I don't mind this"
Then the main problem about privacy around the Google Glass will be gone and we will fully live in a Black Mirror kinda of society
Edit: and yes, Google Glass was definitely ahead of time
I still think it will be a real push to accept that people have cameras on their faces but probably way more acceptable now
Yo I forgot that was a thing, is it still available to like buy and s***? Lol
The current version is just for enterprise but you can find the old version on ebay tho
