to be fair the hook has to grow on you

rap forum nerds don't like when the hook is just the same thing over and over

it's a classic today, but people were always waiting for Drake to fall off and will use any excuse to say he lost the sauce

he still does though

his normal voice and his rap voice are pretty distinct

having a rap voice is fine bc you gotta change tone and everything to fit subject matter and the key of the song but on TML drake was using a straight accent
