F*** what you feel about him as a person or his music. Me and my friend are arguing about this, but i think he was. D Rose was one of the most influential songs of that era. What are yall thoughts
I think he was kinda the face of something, musically and culturally for a minute there.
Idk if that makes him influential or not, but I hope yall understand what I’m trying to say

Not in a lasting way
there were plenty of Pump clones in that Era but they didn't take off fr
it was just easy to make Pump a meme because of his aesthetic
I think Lil Pump's career really suffered because of poor management and lack of vision from his team
it sucks bc he was so young back then, I genuinely foresaw him being someone who could be bigger than his detractors thought, especially if he really locked in on the music & became a better writer. He could've branched out to the point that people take him serious.
But nah I don't think he had that much influence. He had some bangers though, people don't wanna admit these songs were on their playlist in High School
influentially ass
He for sure had some influence when he was popular but as far as long lasting, it’s hard to pinpoint.
It also didn’t help that he fell off and derived from the formula that made him popular and then he became a meme lol
what exactly made him fall off? was it the trump s*** or capitalizing too late on Harverd Dropout?

the latter tbh.

I mean it's not a mystery, he had one song that he made over and over again. Or do you seriously think he could have lasted until today if he just had better marketing?

He had already fallen off by the time the trump thing happened
