I didnt really pay much attention to him until then. Do people just like him now because he said something racist or was he already the biggest thing in country music before?
From what I could tell, he's a popular country star and he sells out arenas.
People that listen to country still buy CDs and iTunes for the most part.
i distinctly remember durkio arguing he had a number 1 album before that even happened so yeah
I mean I think it was a story because he was famous like
If it was just a random country artist people probably wouldn't have talked about it

no i meant durkio was in support of the dude he's still the OP of the morgan wallen thread lmao
I remember YNS and Juicy J hyping him up a few weeks before the video came out. He was doing well in country and getting some mainstream looks.
After the video came out his streams went up a ton though and his album was number one on Billboard for a while.
So he’s not famous because of the video, but it certainly seems to have helped him. Although obviously he now has a really s***ty fan base.

yeah but most rap fans never even heard of him.
It make sense why it was talked about so much now. Looks like he was already doing crazy numbers just like yall said. Im not gonna lie im definitely looking at his fans different nowadays.

yup I can already tell. I guess some people listened out of curiosity after and was feeling some of the music. But as a black man I cant get behind him regardless if his music is fire or not at this point.
he was on the way up in country
know this one girl that’d always post his songs on her story

I was gonna say maybe, but looking at it now, he probably wasn't. His first album went platnium around the incident
