Vlad obsessed with Gen z artists and gay sh*t.
Edit: nothing wrong with being gay, it's just vlad spends so much time on the topic dude is definitely lowkey imo
please tell me are you siding with vlad or ra the rugged man on this one? this is an important discussion, especially with the recent sentiment that hip hop has fallen off, need to know what the culture thinks

I couldn’t finish the vid so idk what vlad said
but Yachty got some slappers even tho he also has a lot of garbage
I like to put respect on the history but I don't expect every artist be all knowing historians before they dare make some music. You're just gonna have a refined version of what's already been made in that case instead of maybe something entirely new and fresh sounding.
Orson Welles said it best when he advised filmmakers not to get "marinated" or "soaked" in films because he believed excessive immersion in cinema stifles originality and creativity by encouraging imitation and endless "homages". Instead, he encouraged artists to experience and draw from life itself, reading, traveling, falling in love, and engaging with other art forms to develop a unique vision and voice, rather than merely copying other filmmakers.
hey man who cares @op
Only "Lil"s I acknowledge are Wayne, Kim, Bow Wow, Scrappy and Jon

it’s all love op but you can’t expect me to hit play on ra the rugged man interview about lil yachty in 2025

Songs still cool. So Ra is objectively wrong.
With accessibility of technology today you can make music without hearing s***. You dont need to know the Bible of hip-hop to make hip-hop.
Do I appreciate people who study it more? Yes absolutely.
But music is an expression of self. And you dont need to know what people 30 years ago said to express how you feel.
Uncommon valor still one of the realest things ever penned
