So...I was at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum last Saturday to check out the new "Countryside, The Future" Exhibit in NYC, tripping balls with a few friends and BOOM. Frank Ocean appears in the f***in exhibit right next to us with two of his friends. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the man himself standing about a yard away from me. Felt like I found a rare pokemon in the wild, I thought I was tweaking but it really was him. I genuinely didn't wanna bother the man because I understood how annoying it would've been to have fans come up to you while trying to take in the experience of an exhibit, especially with the content this one contained.

Because we were in a Museum, I wanted him to have the ability to fully enjoy his experience without being bothered. However, I made sure to make eye contact and gave em a nod and he smiled and nodded back at me(ACKNOWLEDGING MY EXISTENCE WOW)....man..it was such a wild experience to be bumping his songs off the acid while we were in line outside waiting to enter the museum, and having him appear right before my eyes within the same hour. Felt like I manifested it...I literally was standing right next to him before I even realized it, my friends and I really tried our best not to blow his cover so that he wouldn't get harassed or be paranoid that some fan was gonna be like "HEY CAN I GET A PIC".

This was so unreal I couldn't believe what the f*** was going on. But it was overall really interesting seeing him in person. Glad I got to see the man himself thriving in his element, taking in the same information that I was from that exhibit. I am writing this post bc I have been a fan of his music since 7th grade, & I am finally going to graduate from University this spring and it just feels really crazy that this happened to me out of all the people in this world. IDK How the space time continuum placed us within feet of each other. The influence this man's art has had on my life is crazy. It's brain melting.

Really cool museum btw, if youre ever in NYC ya'll should check it out.. ALSO..Virgil Abloh was there as well...FUCKING WILD..but made me realize and understand that famous or not, we're all just humans in the end.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Frank take a pic with a fan

he either always declines or his real fans know him well enough that he doesn’t like to be bothered

He used to take plenty in the CO era, shortly after 2014 his management and him came to an agreement that its best to leave him offline which is why he declines now although I have seen 1-2 in 2017
