I always had a soft spot for their work with Eminem but really never went to listen to their own albums. As far as I went was listening to some of Joe Budden mxtapess in like 2013 or some lol.
lol it was Our House, the title track
they cut the Joe Budden verse but left in his background vocals on the hook before where it was supposed to come in

outside of Slaughterhouse, i listened to Bad Meets Evil & a few Royce solo songs, Pump It Up & this random ass collab with Tank & Lil Wayne from Budden, and any Joell Ortiz freestyle that popped up on HNHH because i liked his YAOWA ad lib
don’t think i ever played solo Crooked I though
Forever a classic
This is really good. I do like most of Slaughterhouse as spitters, and when they just rap their ass off it’s good usually, it’s just an album needs more than that, sadly.
Remember that this is the guy with so much to say every week about how everyone else’s career should go 😂
“Microphone” produced by Alchemist is one undeniably good song they have
Man I can only imagine if they did a whole album with Uncle Al. His grimier beats would have been the perfect canvas for them.
Joe Budden renegaded them more than half the time
Joe has always been a top tier lyricist. Sadly his best choice has always been godawful and his sound engineer should have been shot dead
First album is an underground classic, the EP was dope and the 2 mixtape are FIRE. The only mid thing was the mainstream release but even on that there are good joints (Goodbye, Die, Our Way)
