See I don’t agree with this narrative. Seems like he just finds music that he f***s with and sometimes wants to emulate that sound. I don’t think there is anything inherently wrong with that as I see it more like an appreciation than a rip off. Different perspective I guess

seems wrong to me when he puts on a persona to emulate these rappers that can't really make good money off music because of the actual life they live. like cool that you wanna act hard and brag about having "waps" Drake while being a pop artist but artists in the UK can't do shows, have music taken down, and get locked up for actually living that life so it's kinda f***ed to me. and while obviously he doesn't owe anyone s*** because he deserves to control his output as an artist just like anyone else, but they're not even getting a feature spot or a Drake verse in return that would be career-altering.

I see where you’re coming from but he’s done songs with smaller artists such as Summer Walker, Blockboy, ILM, etc and honestly If you’re lucky enough to get a spot from one of the biggest artists you better take your moment and try to run with it. Some fail, some make it, but I don’t believe he really owes anyone anything like you said unless he’s promising them otherwise which I doubt
