The pills I get are 2.5 mg each. We don't got Adderall where I'm from but in general if you're new to it I'd start out with lower doses and work your way up till the point you find it works best

No it gives me a boost in motivation. I got ADD, so no hyperactivity. My biggest issue is starting smth. Even when I want to my mind often just refuses, so the meds help bring that motivation out of its cage kinda, and I can get to do the things I want to do.

If I take too much my heart starts beating fast like I ran a lot and my mood gets kinda manic, like I want to do a thousand things at once.

Adderall is a combination of amphetamines.

I try to use daily bc I got a lot of stuff that I wanna do every day, but there are days where I just skip bc it's a chill day. I take lower doses in general.

Negative effects are it can give u a dry mouth, sleeplessness, increased heart rate, loss of appetite, nausea (especially when you're in a vehicle and not driving yourself )

When I just started taking it my doc prescribed me too much and the comedown would almost put me in some trance like state where I felt locked up in my own head, and I've heard of similar experiences from others.

When I was a kid, early 90s, they tried to diagnose me with it, like they did with a lot of kids back then who didnt behave in conformity, tried to get me hooked on that ritalin, luckily my parents saw how bad the side effects are and that I'm just insufficiently challenged in school, so they decided against it.
Am happy I did, there are severe cases where medication helps but back then it got prescribed way too fast sometimes, seen kids who didnt really need it and some of them either became like zombies, loosing their creativity, dampened feelings, no interest in life, eating disorders etc. and it can become an addiction. It also happens these days, but back then it was worse because they were quick to use meds as soon as the behavior was somewhat out of the norm, now theyre getting more careful because there are more longterm studies showing the effects on cerebral and hormonal system in a childs body while growing. And theyre not always positive, but sure there are some cases where medication helps with concentration and anxiety.
