When does this s*** get entertaining

This is like the opposite of Uncut Gems it runs at a snails pace

You have to learn how to watch it. Then it’ll just click and you’ll realize how dope everything you saw already was.

Maybe cause you’re typing and watching like some add zoomer

The Wire got nothing in common with Uncut gems in terms of feel. It's simply not that kinda show, but it's brilliant if you're looking for a realistic portrait of the Baltimore d*** trade. S***, it's not even a show about one thing in particular, and once you see all the pieces aligning at around season 4 then you're like

Start by putting your phone down while watching

Its entertaining the whole time especially by season 3

you have to be a moron to think the wire is slowly paced

Tbf it’s notoriously slowly paced on purpose

Every season picks up around the middle but the groundwork is also so satisfying to watch

the only season i would consider to be paced slower than an average tv show is s2 but other than that, no. the buildup is usually always as interesting as the climax of each season

I really thought s1/3 were the most slow paced but not in a bad way

Slow paced can be good (and is here), the only season I remember not thinking was a masterpiece was 3

season 4 might be my favorite season of television ever

Stringer was impressive in season 1 with level-headedness and business-like demeanour, but im starting to see him more as a b**** tbh

Can’t wait for the feud between Avon and him once Avon finds out what he’s been doing behind his back. Stringer would get whipped so easily.
