I slept on that one for a while cause Ye’s verse annoyed me lol. Rest of the song is great though
I got this song randomly stuck in my head out of nowhere the other week for days and then I listened to it for real, now I like it after being meh on it for a long time
deadass top 2 song on JIK
s*** literally feels like im in a relaxing pool of water
beautiful song and I like the prayer in the middle
just comforting vibes all around
i like rain
Yea his study was the inspiration of this thread.
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYRPy2G4TKsYeah it’s amazing . It’s all about good vibrations people!!!! Minimize the demon music !!!!
Song has lost potential tbh. I really think that prayer doesn't work. It's so monotone and lazy.
There are many gospel albums especially from the 60s to 80s that s*** on jik lol where a lot of samples come from as well, only people that think jik is the "best" Christian album are those that barely heard christian music or are huge kanye d*** riders, especially when his other albums have better Christian songs than most of jik. Its such an empty slap statement.
And the song is good, imo.
You got any artists/albums you'd recommend?

we need names
Had he just stuck with the version from Coachella he would of had a classic ….That song just hit so different during that set man
You shouldn't really blame non-religious people born in the 90s and 2000s for not hearing gospel albums from the 60s to 80s, no need for all the animosity especially about gospel of all genres
he’s superior to us
he listens to 60’s gospel

Best song on JIK and it ain’t close. Spiritual without being f***ing corny and beautiful music
instrumental is fire but Ye's jesus verse makes it unlistenable
I kind of like it and I really dislike all of Ye’s jesus bars lol. It feels more genuine to me I guess than other songs on JIK. Donda is way more spiritual overall
didn’t read but i agree
