my theory is that this is actually a current gen game releasing this holiday, and that Rocksteady's Squad game is the bigger next gen title

feels like it'd be weird for the games to have similar 2021 release windows, like they'd be competing with themselves, so I see it as more of a Assassin's Creed Rogue/Unity situation at the end of last gen

I can see it just being ported to next gen at launch, so its available there too. Just like Assassins Creed Black Flag, or any of the EA/2K Sports games were at the launch of the PS4/Xbox One
