the only place where i actually prefer my fries to be pale, limp, and soft (maybe i just got used to it tho)

hate when in n out fries are fried hard and stiff and crunchy

went to ernest tonite. first time. was pretty good but woulda been even better if it was slightly cheaper ngl lol.

hog island oysters

uni toast w jidori yolk.. ngl i def prefer my uni over sushi rice and w some soy sauce. s*** mostly just tasted like toasted buttered brioche.

“sushi rice”… ikura + raw beef + rice. this was really good.

bluefin tuna tostada w avocado.. maybe my favorite bite of the night..

parker house rolls w homemade butter.. this supposed to be one of their more popular items and i can understand why if you don’t eat bread much but i think ive eaten too much good bread in my life to be wowed by this. just some warm dinner rolls w butter.

chrysanthemum greens + pear salad. very korean ingredients tbh. not bad not mind blowing just a good salad.

scallion pancake + burrata w persimmon jam and brussels sprouts. surprisingly really good.

fried rice w brussel sprouts and aged parmesan + squid w pole beans (@p_p im crineee). both good would get again.

pork belly w some s*** i can’t remember but was pretty good.

thick cut la galbi w mushrooms + chanterelle samjang. really good but def still prefer the og korean version ngl.

basque cheesecake. i loved this ofc lol.

vanilla soft serve w hazelnut sauce + chocolate magic shell. ngl this def was my favorite bite of the night

yuzu and cream shaved ice.. everyone else loved this one but i wasn’t really fw it. too sour and tasted like how citrus cleaning product/dishsoap smells like if that makes sense lol.
