theres a new italian baker seemingly aiming for world croissant championships at the little italy l'industrie pizza
got this one--80s style cornetti w orange zest inside, super yummy and fragrant

and this cinnamon roll one which was so sweet and flattened it felt like eating a handful of cinnamon toast crunch no milk

work dinn at tony di napolis--it was fine. the parm and the milanese were good, everything else pretty mid

spring veg n sausage pasta

first thing from caffe panna ive liked (only been twice before)
i think their stuff is genrally very very sweet and very maximalist
this one was a lot more chill
strawberry sauce, evoo, flaky salt, saba (just grape musk, sim to balsamic), and basil topped basil infused soft serve. honestly the basil infusion was p whatever but i liked the strawb saba combo

radio bakery has a new chocolate pb and j croissant. ill b honest, this thing is straight nasty. two other ppl tried and hated it. its just a lot of jam pb and chocolate gooping outta 1 croissant. if it was chocolate and pb i think it wld be fine, or just pb and j, but all 3 is actually kinda overwhelmingly goopy

theres a spot that does ayce tuna carving where they fly in a tuna from the gulf of mexico and carv it same day
v cool... got to eat lots of kama toro (cheek fat toro). koma sushi, deep as hell. the sushi is honestly p mid--their rice sucks, their roll concepts are generall rly catered for wipipo buttttttt the actual fish is incredible. and they dgaf if u just remove all the rice lol

lastly, went to bar chimera (the new idk bar whatever the f*** from the guy behind cote and coqodaq)

salt bread (yummy lil hollow dinner roll)
choux filled w foie gras and jam
burger (36 bucks lmao) comes w beef tallow fries. burgers actually really good tho, my friend and i j split 1
orange soft serv and a candied kumquat
they also had a wagyu corndog we got that everyone was talking abt and man it is just ok it is really just as good as a pig in a blanket from any ol asian bakery

also not to be dramatic but radio bakery always had a like 30 min+ line

but recently its been 3 hours

ppl are going at 7am to get whatever stupid limited pastry they have and buying 10 at a time (each special pastry is 14 bucks)

i actually f***ing hate it here
went 2 days in a row for different spdcific pastries and sold out each time after waiting a good hr
after day 1 i was like u know what its a beautiful morning its good to wake up and enjoy th day outside its fine
day 2 of the same s*** i was livid as hell
never had a problem before this month

also tried a brand new dim sum hall in chinatown
100 feast or something
really cheap but also kinda mid
all their like flaky puff items (durian puff, bbq pork puff) looked really sad
the turnip cake was enjoyable, also liked the lotus wrapped sticky rice--i dont lik it when some places put a thin paper inside bc its less fragrant and they dont do that
chicken feet mid taro puff mid as hell, the cheung fun was pretty decent

but again, really good price point so i guess i cant be mad

Preciate this info because I was thinking of going when I hit NY next month but after reading this

Apricot pistachio croissant, potato truffle croissant, apple monkey bread, choco chip cookie

The potato truffle croissant and the monkey bread were fresh out the oven so I ate those on the spot

ngl lakeshore >>> emeryville location for cc cookies wow. lakeshore cookies are baked differently… thinner/flatter

pizzas basically taste the same at both locations tho.

gaining unnecessary weight and increasing my chances of getting diabetes cause i let @aeiou down
