my god talk about over f***ing rated. Popeyes sandwich was trash for all the hype around it. there wasn’t even a long line at the drive thru and I some how got a stale/cold sandwich? wtf already tasted like s*** from the jump cause of that and chic fil a Mac and cheese is leagues ahead of Popeyes.

Everyone that's saying the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich is overrated has some weird standards when when it comes to fast food.

No, a four dollar overly processed chicken sandwich is never going to be worth a 45 minute wait and a line wrapped around the block. No fast food sandwich is going to taste "good" after letting it sit for ten minutes.

It's all besides the point, the "hype" surrounding the sandwich all centered around the fact that it was bigger, tasted "better" than CFA and you can get them on Sunday. That's it.

It wasn't even marketed to be a big deal initially, Popeyes realized that no one was buying their Poboys (literally just their regular chicken tenders on a sub roll), and made this sandwich to replace it.

It's a decent sandwich, which makes it an above average sandwich by fast food standards. Y'all are just being contrarians.
