the story eddie was telling was from when baohaus first opened so it was a long time ago. Both eddie and David are prolly rich/financially comfortable in 2020. David Chang got that Netflix money now. On the pod he said momofuku was spending half a mill a week just paying employees wages at all his diff locations before corona hit. I think he closed a bunch of locations recently tho.
