Grew up in raleigh brah. That factory near Jones sausage exploded maybe like 2010. Idk if they made slim jims there but it was called conagra foods I think and they make slim jims

The article says it's bc the slim Jim factory but there's also an abandomed building on that road called Jones sausage co. So either the news is wrong or conagra bought Jones sausage co I'm guessing

Yep, had no idea (haven't been to Raleigh in 5+ years) but the article says the city tried to make it a business center then convinced Amazon to move there
