made some dakdori tang which translates to (spicy) chicken stew but tbh it’s more like a braised(?) meat dish cause you don’t really eat the stew part like it’s a soup.. it’s kinda more like a sauce or marinade for all the other s*** in the pot (or at least that’s how I eat it)

super simple one pot dish. if you can make instant Japanese curry you can make this no problem.

you just throw all this into a big pot together then bring it to a boil then simmer till everything is cooked all the way

    • 9 drumsticks (but I think they use a diff part of the chicken or maybe even whole chicken in a traditional recipe.. also you can def use less or more chicken same goes for the other ingredients. Just adjust accordingly)
    • 3 potato’s (not the super big kind tho forgot what kind these are my b lol) cut in quarters or half dep on size
    • 1-2 carrots dep on size cut into large pieces
    • half an onion chopped.
    • garlic cloves whole (I put in like 9-10 cloves but you can do more or less)
    • one korean green pepper sliced (but you can prolly use jalapeños)
    • a little piece of ginger
    • a spoonful of soy sauce for every piece of chicken (so 9 for me)
    • a big spoonful of gochujang (you can add more or less dep on your taste)
    • 2-3 spoonfuls of korean chili flake
    • a spoonful or two of yoshida teriyaki sauce (but you can also just use sugar)
    • enough water to cover maybe like 1/4 of the ingredients (you don’t want the ingredients to be fully submerged under water + if you didn’t add enough water in the beginning you can always add more)

    serve w rice

Made a chicken thigh and cheddar sandwich but didn’t take a pic bc I was really tired and hungry from standing over the heat

Cutting chicken off the bone of a thigh too much work

    Strictly breast from now on
