Anyone used greek yogurt as a heavy cream substitute? I heard you just need to add a bit of cornstarch to avoid curdling
Wanna make a red wine x garlic x Greek yogurt steak sauce, would like some feedback

Use it all the time to finish off ground turkey marinara sauce. Or in replace of sour cream when doing tacos.
you just gotta add it at the end and off the heat so it doesn’t get all grainy and separated. I dunno if it’s the same for what you tryna make tho but that’s what I do w pasta sauce. I’ll make a big batch of pasta sauce w/o Greek yoghurt in it and add it in at the end after reheating the sauce in pan whenever I use it for pasta.
