    last meal of the year

    abalone jook + leftover korean fried chicken from night before + a lil kimchi

    was expecting the fried chicken to be a lil soggy from sitting in the fridge for a day but s*** came out surprisingly crispy after broiling for about 9 min (make sure to flip them over every few min tho)

    What does Kimchi taste like?

    the taste is pretty similar to a pickle/pickled vegetable but it’s actually fermented cabbage marinated in like a korean chili powder, garlic ginger, dried shrimp/fish paste.

    imagine a pickle but a lil more spicy, and slightly funkier taste but in a good way.

    Pan fried kimchi and spam go crazy tho

    marinated green bean sandos... basically just pickled green bean on focaccia w mozz lol

    was p good, would eat again. used burrata but burratas defs 2 liquidy for the sandwich lmao
    french toast / sticky bun thing
    made w leftover stale ass focaccia i made for the sandos

    nachos w black bean, impossible meat, guac, pico, greek yogi, cheese
    kimchi fried rice w spam onion carrot pea
    finally killed the roast beef circa christmas for nye dinner lol
    it took like... 4 meals
    made seriouseats.com/recipes/2015/12/the-best-yorkshire-pudding-popover-recipe.html and they gave me the highest rise of all the popover recipes ive tried.... rested the batter for 2.5 hrs
    i used a popover tin and baked for 25, but i think 20 will be better--25 seemed overbaked 2 me
    finally cacio e pepe for lunch 2day
