abalone jook + leftover korean fried chicken from night before + a lil kimchi

was expecting the fried chicken to be a lil soggy from sitting in the fridge for a day but s*** came out surprisingly crispy after broiling for about 9 min (make sure to flip them over every few min tho)

the food itself looks bomb but just plate it so people can at least eat it that bowl of grits is 1 person reaching for a grape away from toppling tf all over

the taste is pretty similar to a pickle/pickled vegetable but it’s actually fermented cabbage marinated in like a korean chili powder, garlic ginger, dried shrimp/fish paste.
imagine a pickle but a lil more spicy, and slightly funkier taste but in a good way.
Pan fried kimchi and spam go crazy tho
what we beene ating:
marinated green bean sandos... basically just pickled green bean on focaccia w mozz lol

i used a popover tin and baked for 25, but i think 20 will be better--25 seemed overbaked 2 me finally cacio e pepe for lunch 2day
