You need the direct image link for imgur or any other image hosting site

Take that and put a ! At the start of the link with no spaces and you'll be good

If you're on a computer just right click and go to open image in a new tab to get the direct image link

If you're on the app hold down on the image and select copy URL (not the copy that comes up at the top) and that'll give you the direct image link
