was it good? I feel like KFC would f*** it up
I ain't gone hold bro, it was the messiest thing I've ever eaten and I'll probably never order it again. I'm pretty sure I was the first customer to ever order this at that location, I don't think any of the employees was convinced that someone would actually be willing to try one of these and when I gave my order to the lady at the counter, she legit looked surprised.
The whole staff was scrambling and didn't have any donuts prepared ahead of time, I legit saw a dude walking out the freezer with a bag full of them. It's obvious that the donuts are reheated and the glazed is poured on after, because that stuff was runny and went everywhere, which sucks cause I have a beard.
But with all that said, it actually works. Granted mine came out fresh, but the flavor of the original recipe chicken paired very well with what was essentially two soft and warm honey buns. One didn't overpower the other, which shocked me because these donuts are pretty thick and you're biting into two of them.
6/10 gimmicky but not terrible, wouldn't order it again though.
what did u taste more? The donut or the chicken?
Everything was surprisingly well balanced, if you have no qualms with getting glaze all over you and having diarrhea in the middle of the night, I would recommend it.
